POLYVAP FIX P is a prefabricated ELASTOMERIC waterproofing vapour control membrane offering excellent performance. Made from a special modified distilled bitumen compound with a high percentage of elastomeric SBS thermoplastic rubbers (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene). POLYVAP FIX P is a membrane produced to the standards set by NAT technology, the innovative production system for the control of polymer matrix ageing in bitumen membranes. The special compound and the PP nonwoven finish on the upper face consisting in a layer of texturizing polypropylene fibres preformed in a film, give the finished product high added value, enabling compatible thermal insulation panels to be torched on using the directly adhered system. POLYVAP FIX P has a spunbond polyester nonwoven carrier stabilized with glass strands parallel to the machine direction. The carrier gives good tensile strength (in all directions) and puncture resistance, with excellent dimensional stability.
