Waterproofing systems for every need

Bituminous membranes, synthetic membranes in FPO/TPO and PVC-P, self-adhesive membranes, ultra-light membranes, liquid products and insulating systems:
we offer products for every application field.

Highly reflective systems

So-called cool roofs are the ideal product when it comes to keeping energy consumption down.

Being highly effective in reflecting solar radiation, high reflectance roofing systems stand out for their low surface temperature and high thermal emissivity.

Timber decks systems

The decision to use a wooden roof is based on a series of design factors, most notably durability, light weight combined with strength (ideal in earthquake-prone areas), aesthetics and thermal value.

Our systems ensure correct insulation and waterproofing for timber decks, improving occupant comfort inside the building.

Greef roofs systems

A green roof's unique conformation means it needs a specific and particularly reliable waterproofing system: the result of an improved thermal insulation is an improved occupant comfort and a considerable saving in energy consumption and bills to heat and cool interiors.

We have developed two main waterproofing systems: one using prefabricated distillate polymer bitumen membranes and one with prefabricated FPO/TPO (flexible polyolefin) membranes.

Systems for rooftop photovoltaic installations

The use of photovoltaic systems has sky-rocketed in recent years in both the private housing sector and in the industrial building market, whose roofs are large enough to accommodate large arrays of panels and also allow for the production of high outputs.

Our solutions include both bitumen and synthetic systems, with BROOF certified products.

Water reservoir systems

Reservoirs are used for all purposes, from farming to artificial snow.

We can handle all your waterproofing needs, from lining small tanks to large storage reservoirs, ornamental ponds or even major infrastructure projects, such as the expansion of the Panama Canal, for which we have produced special PVC-P membranes for a total area of approx. 800,000 m2.

Bridge and viaduct systems

There has been a growing focus, over the years, on systems designed to protect structures of this kind, such as the use of waterproofing membranes: more specifically, membranes installed between the substrate and the road surfacing.

All man-made structures are under constant physical and chemical attack from rainwater and freeze-thaw cycles, but when it comes to roads, bridges and viaducts, traffic adds to the deterioration, resulting in wear induced by loads, vibrations and mechanical strain.

Road pavements systems

20% of all reported accidents can be attributed to the quality of road pavements. With the progressive increase in loads and traffic, they are deteriorating faster and faster, with damage that seriously compromise the safety and comfort of drivers.

Consequently, investing time and effort into researching the development and implementation of innovative solutions for the construction and rehabilitation of road pavements is for us a worthwhile strategy.

Foundation and underground structure systems

The proper design of foundation and underground structure waterproofing systems is absolutely key as they will no longer be accessible once the structure has been built.

The waterproofing system has to be produced correctly to ensure the greatest possible level of protection, to avoid the issue of groundwater or percolating water seepage.

MAPEPLAN® waterproofing systems, specifically designed for such applications, are compartmentalized, and can be tested and repaired, offering different levels of performance and protection to meet even the most critical demands of constructions below the groundwater line.
