On the occasion of the naming ceremony of via Giorgio Squinzi in Ponte di Piave (TV), our auditorium was dedicated to Adriana Spazzoli. With this gesture, we wanted to honor an exceptional person, with a deep humanity, who has done so much for the Group.
Adriana Spazzoli has been Director of Operational Marketing and Communication of the Mapei Group since 1985; over the years she has coordinated the image and the communication of over 80 subsidiaries around the world.
She has strengthened the brand image worldwide through various channels, identifying various communication vehicles:
, through cycling with a team at the top of international rankings for 9 years, and then through football, first with the intuition to sponsor the Italian National team, that won the World Cup in 2006, and then with the ownership of Sassuolo Calcio, who passed from C2 to Serie A;
- operatic and musical culture
, which has been an important vehicle for growth and loyalty, in the main theaters. Mapei has been a Founding Member of the Teatro alla Scala since 2008 and of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia since 2015, the company supports other projects such as Celebrity Fight Night and the concert of the Italian Red Cross, both initiatives that support research for a better quality of life;
, especially in museums of excellence. An example of this is the stable collaboration with the Guggenheim in Venice and New York and other various initiatives activated all over the world;
, with national and international projects where the design and construction industry develops the culture of living according to the highest standards of sustainability, such as energy saving and the elimination of architectural barriers.
She was Director responsible for the corporate publications of Realtà Mapei and Realtà Mapei International
and the coordinator of several versions of the magazine in other languages.
She has been President of the Sodalitas Foundation
, the reference organization in Italy for promoting Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, since 2016.
Transparency, clarity of messages, commitment to sustainability and social issues are some of the fundamental pillars of the company philosophy, also developed thanks to an appropriate communication around the world.
She has always stood by her team, made up of marketing teams all over the world, even in the most difficult times.
She was a great, intuitive and generous woman with a contagious vitality and an untiring energy, who will forever be an important model for all of us.
